VERBOS INC. was founded by Line Merrette, Certified Translator, Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec. She has been active as copy editor, translator and proofreader for over 10 years - on a freelance basis or as regular staff - in newspapers, a public accountants firm, etc. She also worked as internal auditor, commercial credit officer and financial analyst in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in management (major: applied economics) from École des Hautes Études Commerciales, Montreal and certificates in accounting science. She was among the finalists of the Dictée des Amériques in 1995. She holds a Master degree in translation from the University of Montreal.
